SABRINA BROWN
I am a true Pirate. I attended Byng schools from Kindergarten until I graduated in 2002. In the following Fall I began my college journey at East Central University. I majored in Early Childhood Education and graduated with my degree In May of 2007.
I have my Bachelor’s Degree In Early Childhood Education
I began teaching at Francis in October 2007 as a teacher’s assistant in Kindergarten. In August of 2008 I taught 2nd grade. Beginning in August 2009 I moved to Pre-K. I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else!
While attending college I worked at a local daycare. I worked with all ages from 4-6 weeks old to 4 years old.
My husband, Ron, works at the Chickasaw Nation as a Paramedic. We were married July 12, 2019. I have a daughter, Josalynn, who attends Francis and will be in the 2nd grade this year. Ron has 3 daughters, Dakota, Paden, and Rylee. Dakota and Paden attended and graduated from Byng School. Rylee attended Francis and Byng until January of 2019 then switched to Ada schools where she is beginning the 9th grade this year. We also have a grandaughter, Penelope, who will begin school next Fall. We have three dogs, one inside and two outside. Inside: Aspen, a male Maltese Outside: Zera, a female Border Collie and Big Girl a female stray that has found a forever home with us. We also have 3 fish.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outside; swimming, working in the flower beds, 4 wheeling, hiking, riding the motorcycle with my husband. I love spending time with our families and friends. I enjoy watching movies, reading, doing crafts, and getting pedicures. I am always up for an adventure!
